This was from my last semester of year 2 where I made a circular brand which focused on using waste fabrics to make garments and matching tote bags, this is what led me onto and inspired my recent work
My A-level Art and Photography work
During my A-Level art I produced portraits using stitch work, I wanted to keep my materials relevant to what I enjoy which is sewing so instead of the traditional painting I created unique portraits using stitch on fabric and working back into them with newspaper and embroidered motifs. I did also experiment with using a mix of acrylic paint and oil based pastels to created the painted flower image which I really enjoyed
Here are some of my A-level photography outcomes, I wanted to capture contrast between light and dark aspects in a photo, and playing around with light overall was something I focused on.
